Karunya Bhavan Old Age Home

We, in India, do not have many facilities for the welfare of the old aged persons.
Bethel Seva Ashram has, therefore, made a humble beginning by starting an old age home, “Karunya Bhawan, “at 14/21 Sainik Society, Vatva, Ahmedabad, which can accommodate only twelve elderly persons without regard to caste, creed, race, or religion. And provide everything free of cost. The number of people seeking admission in old age homes is increasing day by day.
BETHEL SEVA ASHRAM has worked out a detailed stage-wise project in the outskirts of Ahmedabad City to provide a peaceful life for at least 250 elderly persons free of cost. The task is Herculean. We are but hopeful that we can achieve it with the co-operation of philanthropists like you.

The cost for establishing an old age home for 250 persons with complete facilities such as a Clinic, Physiotherapy unit, education, training, and rehabilitation center would be to the tune of crores of rupees apart from recurring expenses every day. However, the immediate requirement at the first stage is to construct a building with basic amenities to house 100 persons.
Let us together build up a good home for the older people so that few of them can live a peaceful life at the fag end of their life.
The Ashram is entirely dependent on donations. Therefore, we request you to kindly donate generously to this noble, humanitarian cause and lend a new breath of life to at least a few of our old-aged senior citizens. Like “Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean,” your contribution, maybe even small, is requested.
We accept Domestic Cheques/ Drafts for donations, which may be written out to Bethel Seva Ashram. Donations are exempt under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Foreign contributions/donations may be sent by cheques/drafts in the name of Bethel Seva Ashram FCRA. We are registered under the FCRA Act, and our registration number is 041910465.
